I bought this chair for a child of 7 years, and it looks like it will be too small by next year. The age-appropriate guidelines are a big exaggerated. The construction is only fair; when we held the chair by the armrests something on one side sounded like crunching, while the other side was like a solid board. Appearance is nice, and comfort is OK, not exceptional. I think it is overpriced for the quality.
